Danual is a strong believer in bringing diversity into children’s book writing, and believes there needs to be more diversity to reflect the world we live in. As a kid, he never saw any children’s books about black families, so his focus was to create stories and characters that kids of color can relate to and show that families come in all shapes and sizes!
